(1) Subject to Subsection (2), a person must be licensed or permitted as required under this chapter to practice a discipline regulated by this chapter. (2) An individual is not required to be licensed or permitted if the individual: (a) is a registered apprentice in accordance with this chapter; or (b) qualifies for an exemption under: (i) Section 58-1-307; or (ii) Section 58-11a-304.
