A state officer or employee occasionally may accept modest items of food and refreshments, excluding beverages containing alcohol, from vendors or persons regulated or licensed by the state officer or employee’s agency when offered other than as part of a meal. Promulgated by Ethics Commission January 10, 2014; effective upon Legislature’s sine die adjournment May 23, 2014; operative January 1, 2015.
