Board for the Education and Counseling of Displaced Homemakers: Creation; membership; duties; compensation of members

1. The Board for the Education and
Counseling of Displaced Homemakers is hereby created. The Board consists of
five members appointed by the Governor, one of whom must be a current or former
displaced homemaker and one of whom must be representative of business in the
State.
2. The Board shall:
(a) At its first meeting and annually thereafter
elect a Chair from among its members.
(b) Meet regularly at least once each calendar
quarter and at other times upon the call of the Chair.
3. The members of the Board serve without
compensation, except that each member of the Board is entitled to the per diem
allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees
generally, which must be paid from the account established pursuant to
subsection 2 of NRS 19.033 .
