Nevada Code § 388.625

Establishment of center for displaced homemakers; deposit of gifts and grants of money; approval of claims

1. The Board shall, to the extent that
money is available, establish in a county whose population is 100,000 or more,
a center to provide services for displaced homemakers.
2. The Board may, to the extent that money
is available:
(a) Establish a center to provide services for
displaced homemakers in a county whose population is less than 100,000; and
(b) Establish regional centers which provide
services for displaced homemakers in two or more counties whose populations are
less than 100,000.
3. The Board may, with the approval of the
Director, enter into contracts with public or nonprofit private organizations
to provide the various services required at the centers established pursuant to
subsections 1 and 2.
4. All gifts and grants of money received
for the purposes of NRS 388.605 to 388.655 , inclusive, must be deposited in
the same account in the State General Fund as money deposited pursuant to
subsection 2 of NRS 19.033 .
5. All claims must be approved by the
Director before they are paid.
