1. The Director may employ, within the limits of legislative appropriations, such staff as is necessary to the performance of the Directors duties. 2. Any provider of health care who is employed by the Authority for purposes related to Medicaid or the Childrens Health Insurance Program must sign a form agreeing to: (a) Avoid or minimize conflicts of interest between the personal interests of the provider of health care and the interests of Medicaid or the Childrens Health Insurance Program; and (b) If a conflict of interest described in paragraph (a) arises: (1) Report the conflict to the Administrator of the Medicaid Division of the Authority; and (2) Recuse himself or herself from action or deliberation on the matter in the capacity of his or her employment with the Authority. 3. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, except NRS 287.0424 , the Director, or the Directors designee, is responsible for appointing and removing subordinate officers and employees of the Authority.
