Procuring the summoning of biased juror by party other than officer;

If any person shall procure or attempt to procure a juror to be summoned, with intent that
such juror shall find a verdict for or against either party to an action, or shall be biased in his
conduct as such juror, he shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be
fined not exceeding $500. e
