Limitation on amount to be sold

Not more than ten gallons of alcoholic liquor shall be sold to a person at one time without
the approval of the commissioner or his representative; but a sale in excess of ten gallons
may be made to a religious organization purchasing wine for sacramental purposes, and
sales in case lots may be made in the discretion of the commissioner: Provided, That this
section shall not apply to private clubs as defined in article seven of this chaepter.
