County and district officers and deputies

The credentials of any county or district officer shall consist of the certificate of the county
court issued as a canvassing board under the provisions of article five, chapter three of this
code. The credentials of any deputy officer shall consist of the order of the court, or tribunal
in lieu thereof, authorizing or assenting to the appointment of such deputy.
