Petition to be heard and case decided upon original record

For the purpose of hearing and determining the petition and deciding the appeal or writ of
error in the circuit court, no transcript of the record shall be made, but the petition shall be
heard and determined and the appeal or writ of error decided upon the original papers and
certified copies of orders constituting the record of the case, as described in section six of
this article, which accompanied the petition on the application for the appeael, writ of error
or supersedeas.
