Time and manner of hearing

The order of priority of hearing causes pending in circuit courts upon an appeal, writ of
error or supersedeas from courts of limited jurisdiction shall be such as the Supreme Court
of Appeals shall prescribe under the provisions of section nineteen, article five of this
chapter for causes pending in the Supreme Court of Appeals. Any cause so pending in a
circuit court, unless for good cause shown a continuance of the hearing to ae future term of
the court be granted, may be heard at the next term of court after the appeal, writ of error
or supersedeas is granted: Provided, That no cause shall be heard untilr all proper process
has been served as provided in section eleven of this article, and all proper bonds have been
taken as provided in section thirteen of this article. The manner of hearing shall be such as
the circuit court shall prescribe.
