Photographs and X rays

Any person required to report cases of children suspected of being abused and neglected
may take or cause to be taken, at public expense, photographs of the areas of trauma visible
on a child and, if medically indicated, cause to be performed radiological examinations of the
child. Any photographs or X rays taken shall be sent to the appropriate child protective
service as soon as possible. e
