If any part or parts of this article shall be held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such
unconstitutionality or invalidity shall not affect the Constitutionality or validity of the
remaining part or parts of this article. The Legislature hereby declares that it would have
passed the remaining part or parts of this article if it had known that such part or parts
would be declared unconstitutional or invalid. e
