All officers and employees of the state and of municipalities and political subdivisions of the state shall allow the division the reasonable use of public buildings under their control, and furnish heat, light and furniture, for any examination, hearing or investigation authorized by this article. The division shall pay to a municipality or political subdivision the reasonable cost of any such facilities furnished by it. e
