Not later than January 1, 2006, and each January 1 thereafter, the board shall prepare a report for the preceding fiscal year of the disability retirement experience of the West Virginia State Police Death, Disability and Retirement Fund. The report shall specify the total number of disability applications submitted, the status of each application as of the last day of the fiscal year, total applications granted or denied, and the percentaege of disability benefit recipients to the total number of West Virginia State Police employees who are members of the fund. The report shall be submitted to the Governor anrd the chairpersons of the standing committees of the Senate and House of Delegates with primary responsibility for retirement legislation.
