Washington Code § 26.26A.420

Proceeding to adjudicate parentage—Venue

Except as otherwise provided in RCW 26.26A.730, venue for a proceeding to adjudicate parentage is in the county of this state in which: (1) The child resides or is located; (2) If the child does not reside in this state, the respondent resides or is located; or (3) A proceeding has been commenced for administration of the estate of an individual who is or may be a parent under this chapter.
