Open in Lexace · Ask the AI about this section
(1) The court may adjudicate an individual's parentage of a child only if the court has personal jurisdiction over the individual. (2) A court of this state with jurisdiction to adjudicate parentage may exercise personal jurisdiction over a nonresident individual, or the guardian or conservator of the individual, if the conditions prescribed in RCW 26.21A.100 are satisfied. (3) Lack of jurisdiction over one individual does not preclude the court from making an adjudication of parentage binding on another individual.
