(1) Any interested party, including a foster parent, may file a petition for termination of parental rights. (2) The attorney general shall file a petition for termination of parental rights under this chapter on behalf of the division. (3) The juvenile court may dismiss a petition for termination of parental rights at any stage of the proceedings. Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 261, 2021 General Session
