(1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), the state shall pay, when approved by the court, the cost of publication of a summons, the expense of a trial, and any other fee or expense of a trial of an adult under this part. (2) The county where the hearing or trial is held shall pay the prosecution costs and public defender costs. Renumbered and Amended by Chapter 261, 2021 General Session
