(1) A license or registration is required to engage in the practice of behavior analysis, except as
specifically provided in Section 58-1-307.
(2) The division shall issue to a person who qualifies under this part a license in the classification
of:
(a) behavior analyst; or
(b) assistant behavior analyst.
(3) The division shall issue to a person who qualifies under this part a registration in the
classification of:
(a) behavior specialist; or
(b) assistant behavior specialist.
(4) An individual shall be licensed or registered under this part or exempted from licensure under
this part in order to engage in, or represent that the individual is engaged in, the practice of
behavior analysis.
