Utah Code § 23A-5-302

Captivity of protected wildlife unlawful -- Criminal penalty

(1) A person may not hold in captivity at any time protected wildlife except as provided by this
title or rules made by the Wildlife Board in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah
Administrative Rulemaking Act.
(2) A person who violates this section is subject to the penalty provided in Section 23A-5-301.
