If, in an election, at least one of the races is conducted by instant runoff voting under Title 20A, Chapter 4, Part 6, Municipal Alternate Voting Methods Pilot Project, the portion of the ballot relating to that race shall: (1) list each candidate who qualifies to be placed on the election ballot for that race; (2) opposite each candidate's name, include a place where a voter can indicate the voter's vote in order of preference for each candidate, as described in Title 20A, Chapter 4, Part 6, Municipal Alternate Voting Methods Pilot Project; and (3) provide the ability for a voter to enter a write-in candidate's name and indicate the voter's ordered preference for the write-in candidate.
