Regular general election notice -- Counties -- Special districts

(1) No later than 32 calendar days before the day of the regular general election, the county clerk
shall, in accordance with Section 20A-5a-102, publish notice of the regular general election for

the county, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for the entire period beginning on
the day on which the county clerk publishes the notice, and ending at the end of the day of the
regular general election.
(2) Except as provided in Subsection (3), the clerk of a special district shall, in accordance with
Section 20A-5a-102, publish notice of the regular general election for the special district, as a
class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for the entire period beginning on the day on which
the special district clerk publishes the notice, and ending at the end of the day of the regular
general election.
(3) The county clerk may publish the notice described in Subsection (2) for the special district clerk
if the special district clerk contracts for the county clerk to conduct the special district election.
