(1) On or before the first Wednesday after the fourth Saturday in April of an even-numbered year, the clerk of a special district that will, in accordance with Subsection 17B-1-306(6), hold a primary election that year shall send to each county clerk in which all or part of the special district is located a notice containing a list of names of all candidates who are qualified for placement on the regular primary election ballot, by office, for each special district office. (2) No later than two business days after the day on which a special district clerk complies with Subsection (1), the special district clerk shall publish for the special district, as a class A notice under Section 63G-30-102, for 30 calendar days, the notice described in Subsection (1).
