(1) On or before noon on the Monday after a registered political party's nominating convention, the party liaison for the registered political party shall provide to the lieutenant governor, in writing, the convention results for: (a) the registered political party's state convention; and (b) each of the registered political party's county conventions. (2) The lieutenant governor shall provide the convention results described in Subsection (1) to the county clerk of each county to which the results relate before the end of the first business day that is on or after the day on which the lieutenant governor receives the convention results.
