Resurveys of surveys conducted by the United States

In the resurvey of a federal survey, the county surveyor or the county surveyor's designee shall
ensure that:
(1) section and quarter-section corners, and all other corners established by the federal survey,
stand as the true corner;
(2) missing corners are reestablished at the point where existing evidence would indicate the
original corner was located by the federal survey; and
(3) missing corners be reestablished with reference to the United States Manual of Surveying
Instructions.
