Sec. 507.402. CIVIL PENALTY. (a) A person who violates this chapter, a law regulating the applicable profession, or an executive council rule is liable to the state for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for each day of violation. (b) At the request of the executive council, the attorney general shall bring an action to recover a civil penalty authorized under this section.
