Sec. 336.157. SURPLUS PROPERTY. A district may sell, lease, or dispose of in any other manner and at any time: (1) any right, interest, or property of the district that is not needed for, or, if a lease, is inconsistent with, the efficient operation and maintenance of a public library; or (2) surplus materials or other property that is not needed for a district purpose.
