Sec. 24.436. 259TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (JONES AND SHACKELFORD COUNTIES). (a) The 259th Judicial District is composed of Jones and Shackelford counties. (b) In addition to the jurisdiction prescribed by the constitution and general laws of the state for district courts, the 259th District Court in Jones and Shackelford counties has all original and appellate civil and criminal jurisdiction normally exercised by county courts under the constitution and general laws of this state.
