Sec. 148.061. FAILURE TO REGISTER. (a) A person required by Section 148.002 of this code to register as a slaughterer commits an offense if the person fails to register. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $5 nor more than $25.
