Sec. 144.124. IMPROPERLY RECORDING BRAND. (a) A person commits an offense if, as county clerk, the person records a brand for which the person recording the brand fails to designate the part of the animal on which the brand is to be placed. (b) An offense under this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $50.
