Sec. 142.030. DISPENSING DANGEROUS DRUGS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person authorized by this subchapter to administer medication to a client of a home and community support services agency may not dispense dangerous drugs or controlled substances without complying with Subtitle J, Title 3, Occupations Code. (b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.
