Sec. 134.057. PUBLIC INSPECTION OF APPLICATION. (a) An applicant for a surface coal mining and reclamation permit shall file a copy of the application for public inspection with the county clerk of the county in which the mining is proposed to occur. This subsection does not apply to information in the application pertaining to the coal seam itself. (b) Copies of any records, reports, inspection materials, or information obtained under this chapter by the commission shall be made immediately available to the public at central and sufficient locations in the county, multicounty, and state area of mining so that they are conveniently available to residents in the areas of mining. This subsection does not apply to records, reports, inspection materials, or information that is confidential under Section 134.031 .
