Fees for licenses

(a) Licenses issued by the commissioner of safety pursuant to this chapter shall be valid for the calendar year for which they are issued, and shall be subject to renewal from year to year. (b) Each application for an original or renewal commercial driver training school license shall be accompanied by a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00). (c) Each application for an original or renewal instructor's license shall be accompanied by a fee of five dollars ($5.00). (d) License fees collected pursuant to this chapter shall constitute departmental receipts of the department of safety for use in the enforcement of this chapter.
