Director - Bond

(a) The director shall execute a blanket bond in an amount of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the faithful performance of the director's duties as director and of the department employees in accordance with the general law for such bonds. (b) The cost of such bond shall be paid from funds appropriated to the department for such purpose. (c) The amount of such bond may be increased subject to the approval of the committee, and additional appropriations by the county legislative body. (d) The bond must be prepared, executed, filed, and recorded in accordance with title 8, chapter 19. Amended by 2023 Tenn. Acts, ch. 207, s 4, eff. 7/1/2023. Amended by 2013 Tenn.
