Barbershop license--Supervision by registered barber--Penalty--Application--Fee--Promulgation of rules

It is a petty offense for any person to operate a barbershop unless the barbershop is licensed by the Board of Barber Examiners and is at all times under the direct supervision and management of a registered barber. Application for a license to operate a barbershop must be made, on forms prepared and furnished by the board, annually before June first. The board shall promulgate rules, in accordance with chapter
1-26
, to set a fee of not more than three hundred dollars annually for each barbershop, plus a fee of not more than twenty dollars for each chair in the barbershop.
