South Carolina Code § 63-13-60

Criminal history record check fee.

For conducting a state fingerprint-based criminal history record check as required by this chapter, the State Law Enforcement Division may not impose a fee greater than the fee imposed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for conducting such a fingerprint-based background check.
Effect of Amendment
2024 Act No. 195, SECTION 7, substituted "fingerprint-based criminal history record check as required by this chapter, the" for "criminal history review as required by this chapter" and "fingerprint-based background check" for "review".
