(a) General rule.-- The Minor Judiciary Education Board shall consist of the following appointed by the Supreme Court: (1) Three persons who shall be judges of the Traffic Court of Philadelphia or magisterial district judges. (2) Three members of the bar of this Commonwealth. (3) One lay elector. (b) Terms of office.-- The members of the board shall serve for terms of three years and until a successor has been appointed. A vacancy on the board shall be filled for the balance of the term. (c) Compensation.-- Members of the board shall receive such fees as shall be fixed by the Supreme Court. 2007 Effectuation of Repeal. The Legislative Reference Bureau effectuated the 1992 repeal. 1991 Unconstitutionality. Act 147 of 1990, which amended the def. of "officer enforcing orders," was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. In re Act 147 of 1990, 528 Pa. 460, 598 A.2d 985 (1991). References in Text.
