Annual report to Legislative Assembly on program outcomes

The Oregon Criminal Justice Commission shall annually submit a report, in the manner provided in ORS 192.245, on the outcome measures or the results of evaluations of the Improving Peoples Access to Community-based Treatment, Supports and Services Program established in ORS 430.231 to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to health and the judiciary and to the Governor.
Note: The amendments to 430.245 by section 18, chapter 557, Oregon Laws 2025, become operative July 1, 2026, and apply to grants that the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission first advertises or otherwise solicits on or after July 1, 2026. See sections 50 and 51, chapter 557, Oregon Laws 2025. The text that is operative until July 1, 2026, is set forth for the users convenience.
430.245. (1) At least once per biennium, the Improving Peoples Access to Community-based Treatment, Supports and Services Grant Review Committee shall, in conjunction with the Oregon Health Authority, identify:
(a) The costs to state government that were avoided as a result of the Improving Peoples Access to Community-based Treatment, Supports and Services Program established in ORS 430.231; and
(b) Any increased costs to local governments as a result of the program.
(2) No later than January 1 of each odd-numbered year, the committee shall submit a report to the Legislative Assembly, in the manner provided by ORS 192.245, that includes the costs described in subsection (1) of this section and describes the methodology employed by the committee in determining the costs.
(3) Annually, the committee shall submit a report, in the manner provided in ORS 192.245, on the outcome measures or the results of evaluations of the program to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to health and the judiciary and to the Governor.
Note: 430.245 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 430 or any series therein by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
