Title 76. Torts: Oklahoma Health Care Access Act - Volunteer Health Care

Provider Program.
A.  This act shall be known and may be cited as the “Oklahoma
Health Care Access Act”.
B.  The State Department of Health is hereby directed to develop
a plan to increase access to health care for all Oklahomans through
the use of volunteers including, but not limited to, expanding the
number of health care volunteers.  The plan shall be entitled the
“Volunteer Health Care Provider Program”.
C.  The plan shall explore public-private partnerships as a
method of increasing access to health care.
D.  The Department shall report to the Legislature and to the
Governor on the plan on or before December 1, 2002.  The report
shall include, but not be limited to, recommendations for necessary
legislation.
