Title 68. Revenue And Taxation: Management of real estate purchased by county at resale

So long as the same remains unsold, the board of county
commissioners shall manage the real estate purchased at resale in
the name of the county; leasing, renting or using such property for
the best interests of said county.  The board is authorized to
collect rents, enforce ejectments, and to make repairs or
replacements on said real estate while the title remains in the
county.  Neglect of the board of county commissioners to acquire
possession of such property shall constitute malfeasance in office
and any county commissioner upon conviction thereof shall be removed
from office.
