Oklahoma Code § 63-3250.4

Title 63. Public Health And Safety: Hospitals within hospital district – License,

federal medical programs.
Hospitals located within a hospital district:
1.  Shall be licensed by the State Department of Health and
shall meet the standards, requirements and essentials of the Joint
Commission of Accreditation of Health Care Organizations or the
American Osteopathic Association or meet Medicare certification by
the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  Provided, the State
Commissioner of Health may waive any such standards, requirements
and essentials as the Commissioner deems necessary; and
2.  May provide services and receive payments therefor pursuant
to Titles XVIII and XIX of the federal Social Security Act, and may
participate in other federal medical programs.
