As used in the Oklahoma Community Hospitals Public Trust Authorities Act: 1. “Community hospital public trust authority” or “public trust” means a community hospital public trust authority establishing a hospital district pursuant to the provisions of the Oklahoma Community Hospitals Public Trust Authorities Act; 2. “Hospital” means a hospital as such term is defined by Section 1-701 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes and facilities within the definition of Section 2657 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes; 3. “Hospital district” means a designated geographical area established by a community hospital public trust authority; and 4. “Medically indigent person” means a person requiring medically necessary hospital or other health care services for the person or the dependents of the person, who has insufficient or no public or private third-party coverage, and whose personal resources are insufficient to provide for hospital or other health care services.
