Title 40. Labor: Saving clause

SAVING CLAUSE.  A.  The Legislature reserves the right to amend
or repeal all or any part of the Employment Security Act at any time
and there shall be no vested private right of any kind against such
amendment or repeal.  All the rights, privileges, or immunities
conferred by the Employment Security Act, or by acts done pursuant
thereto, shall exist subject to the power of the Legislature to
amend or repeal the Employment Security Act at any time.
B.  If any provision of the Employment Security Act necessary
for certification for administrative grants under the Social
Security Act or tax credits under the Federal Unemployment Tax Act
are determined to be inconsistent with federal requirements by a
delegate of the Secretary of Labor, the Commission, with the
concurrence of the Oklahoma Attorney General, is authorized to
administer such provisions consistently with federal requirements
until the Legislature has an opportunity to enact appropriate
legislation during its next regularly scheduled session.
