Title 24. Debtor And Creditor: Authority of assignee begins, when

Until the inventory and affidavit required by Sections 221 and
222 have been made, and the assignment has been duly recorded and
the inventory filed, and the assignee has given a bond as required
by the last section, an assignee for the benefit of creditors has no
authority to dispose of the estate or convert it to the purposes of
the trust.
