A.  Any law enforcement agency or public safety entity,
including, but not limited to, the Oklahoma State Bureau of
Investigation, Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous
Drugs Control, Department of Public Safety and Oklahoma Military
Department, conducting a criminal investigation shall be prohibited
from disclosing information about the investigation unless the
disclosure is necessary to gather information and evidence related
to the investigation.  Disclosures authorized by the Oklahoma Open
Records Act, Section 24A.1 et seq. of Title 51 of the Oklahoma
Statutes, shall not be prohibited under this section.
B.  Any person who violates the provisions of this section
shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a misdemeanor.
