Title 21. Crimes And Punishments: Forging name to petition - Penalties

Any person who shall knowingly sign, subscribe or forge the name
of any other person, without the consent of such other person, to
any petition, application, remonstrance, or other instrument of
writing, authorized by law to be filed in or with any court, board
or officer, with intent to deceive or mislead such court, board or
officer, shall be punished by a fine of not exceeding Five Hundred
Dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding
six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
