Title 10A. Children And Juvenile Code: Commitment of child to custody of Office of Juvenile

Affairs - Delivery to designated institution.
When a child is committed to the custody of the Office of
Juvenile Affairs under the provisions of this article, the court
shall order the child to be delivered by the sheriff or by a private
contractor pursuant to the provisions of Section 2-3-103 of this
title to an institution, or other place, designated by the Office,
and the cost of transportation shall be paid from the general fund
of the county.  The Office of Juvenile Affairs shall not be ordered
to provide transportation as provided for in this section for a
juvenile who has been committed to the custody of the Office and is
destined for a secure institution.
