Effective: March 20, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 303 - 129th General Assembly As used in this chapter: (A) "Practice of dietetics" means any of the following: (1) Nutritional assessment to determine nutritional needs and to recommend appropriate nutritional intake, including enteral and parenteral nutrition; (2) Nutritional counseling or education as components of preventive, curative, and restorative health care; (3) Development, administration, evaluation, and consultation regarding nutritional care standards. (B) "Academy of nutrition and dietetics" means the national professional organization known by that name or a successor organization that serves in an equivalent capacity. (C) "Commission on dietetic registration" means the entity that serves as the credentialing agency for the academy of nutrition and dietetics. (D) "Ohio academy of nutrition and dietetics" means the state professional organization known by that name or a successor organization that serves in an equivalent capacity.
