Effective: December 29, 2023 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 131 - 134th General Assembly (A) The chemical dependency professionals board shall issue a license, certificate, or endorsement in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code to an applicant if either of the following applies: (1) The applicant holds a license, certificate, or endorsement in another state. (2) The applicant has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in that chapter in a state that does not issue the license, certificate, or endorsement for which the applicant is applying. (B) A license or certificate obtained under this section may be renewed or restored under section 4758.26 of the Revised Code if the individual holding the license or certificate satisfies the renewal or restoration requirements established by that section. An individual holding a license or certificate obtained under this section may obtain, under section 4758.24 of the Revised Code, a different license or certificate available under this chapter if the individual meets all of the requirements as specified in that section for the license or certificate the individual seeks.
