Effective: September 10, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 100 - 127th General Assembly Upon the request of the industrial commission or the administrator of workers' compensation, the attorney general, or under the attorney general's direction the prosecuting attorney of any county in cases arising within the county, shall institute and prosecute the necessary actions or proceedings for the enforcement of this chapter, or for the recovery of any money due the state insurance fund, or any penalty, and shall defend in like manner all suits, actions, or proceedings brought against the administrator, the bureau of workers' compensation board of directors, industrial commission, or the members of the board, or industrial commission in their official capacity.
